Hello!

       My name is Sandy Mitchell.

I am a full-time freelance writer and regular contributor to Bostonkids.net, The Better Drink ezine, Love to Know Travel as well as a Guide for the About network for Cleveland, Ohio, my hometown.   I specialize in travel and food and wine writing.

Before embarking on my writing career, I worked in the travel industry for eighteen years -- as a travel agent, travel school instructor, travel guide, and author of a travel course.  I have traveled all around the world and bring my insights and experience to my writing. 

Oh, and I have a degree in Marketing with an English minor from Bowling Green State University (Ohio).

I live in Cleveland, Ohio where, when I'm not writing, I dig in my garden, work at restoring my old house, curl up in the library with a good book, or spend time with my cats, Pandora and Boo.
